# Globe animated icon

> Add the Globe micro animation to React with react-useanimations or shadcn. It loops while hovered; free MIT Lottie and SVG files.

The Globe animated icon loops while hovered in 1.33 s, a good fit for language and region pickers. Hover loop icons typically mark social links, community invites, portfolio links and language pickers. Also known as world, language and earth.

## FAQ

### Does Globe stop as soon as the pointer leaves?

It finishes the cycle it is in (at most 1.33 s) and then rests on its first frame, so it never freezes mid-motion. Taps on touch screens are ignored, but keyboard focus plays it.

### Will screen readers read the Globe icon?

By default it is aria-hidden. Pass aria-label="Globe" to announce it as an image, or leave it hidden when the link or button it sits in has its own text.

### Can Globe loop all the time instead?

Yes: pass interaction="loop". It then plays continuously; stays on the static first frame when reduced motion is preferred.
